Tuesdays are my early finish days of the week- I'm always off at 4 o'clock! I remembered that Sally's Beauty Supply has a buy 2 polishes, get 1 free sale on for the month of April... so naturally I had to mozy on over there... I picked out three really pretty colours, two of which I have on my toes right now!
I bought a really pretty coral/peachy colour from PRO (I think that's the brand?), and a really pretty blue one from ORLY (one of my favourite brands of nail polish- the textures are so nice!). The third is the star of this blog post! It's China Glaze OPTICAL ILLUSION. This is a beautiful mix of different sized glitters- this one happens to have a greenish undertone to it. I love the quality of China Glaze's glitter polishes for the most part (I have a couple that let me down from the METRO collection... but they're still wearable over other colours). I think the one is called Ruby Pumps and its a very opaque, red glitter polish, there's also a green one that I can't remember the name of- both beautiful and full coverage sparkle!
OPTICAL ILLUSION has not failed me one bit! I put two coats on and it was pretty opaque- I added a third just to be sure. It is an absolute stunning look! I plan on painting my nails this colour for Easter weekend, I was going to use "Rumple's Wiggin" by OPI until I found this colour! I used it as an accent polish on the corners of my toes with a blue polish, and they're gorgeous together! (I'll post pics once my hands are done- not a fan of posting my toes! lol - even though they're painted the most often :P) I'm seriously thinking I might go back and get the purple-toned one as well. The glitter effect is just so pretty to look at, and has so much more dimension than just a regular glitter polish!
Hope you all love this polish as much as I do! What are your favourite colours to wear for Easter?
xoxo Breanne
